Define a System DSN - Step II

4. When the OBDC Microsoft Access Setup window appears, type the name of the DSN in the Data Source box. In this tutorial, we will use tutorial. Click on the Select button.

5. In the Select Database window, browse to your database and select it. Click the OK button.

NOTE: For added security you should store your database above the root folder of your web site. If you store it in the root folder, or a sub-folder of the root folder, someone might be able to guess your database filename and download it.

6. Click OK in the OBDC Microsoft Access Setup window.

7. The OBDC Data Source Administrator window should now look like the following.
